A Space Company IT V1
IT V1 is a modular storage system designed as the base product for the startup, A Space Company. Funded by a grant from the University of Oregon, the project explores what a domestic home in space might look like, and how that would translate back on earth. Focused on affordability and scalability IT V1 serves as a prototype for the system as a whole. Centered on compact nodes, the joinery provides easy assembly with a soft aesthetic.
